About AWANA

AWANA is a ministry program to meet the spiritual needs of children, teens and adults.AWANA, which stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, is taken from II Timothy 2:15, where the Apostle Paul says “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”This indeed is what the AWANA program is all about with its goals being to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. If you have any questions regarding the Awana program, please contact the church office at (850) 937-0004.

Awana Clubs

Cubbies ministry is for children ages 4 through pre-K. They meet each Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:00 pm with loving adult leaders who will guide them in learning Bible verses, hearing stories, playing games, and having fun.

Sparks is an AWANA program especially for children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. Every Wednesday night children get to experience game time, counsel time, and handbook time with adults that love the Lord and love children!

Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow — today.

Trek is the new middle-school program, the youth ministry arm of Awana®. Trek takes real questions from real students and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way. The road trip/ travel theme helps teenagers learn to navigate the bumpy roads of life. All group members work on the same curriculum, no matter what grade they are in.
